Lead Designer
Responsible for utilizing design consults to create website designs, and then development of said designs into functioning websites. 

Design Responsibilities

Taking a finished design consult from our Sales Tech, as well as conducting any follow-up consultation needed for the design phase, and any existing collateral (logo,content, supplied imagery) and then producing a design concept to the client, revising as neccessary for final client approval. Also responsible (in concert with the owners of GCS) for project and workflow distribution to myself, our other on-staff techs, and any outside freelance designers or development partners that were involved with each project. In the case of freelance designers, I was also responsible for providing design guidelines, initial direction, and feedback during the revision process.

Development Responsibilities

Taking client approved designs and converting them to standards compliant HTML & CSS. Most development was done in the WordPress enviroment, with e-commerce sites utilizing DigiShop software by Sum-Effect. Responsible for coding as well as browser testing and troubleshooting.

Client Interaction

Responsible for conducting on my own or leading design consultations as well as communicating directly with the client throughout a design and revision process. Also responsible for analyzing and communicating existing collateral needs to the client.

Responsible for creating and mainting single page entries into a local business directory that spanned 26 counties in addition to stand-alone sites. Also responsible for conceptualizing and programming preset situations for a voice activated lighting control system AskCounty marketed and installed.

Production Artist
Responsible for taking layout prints from the Design Dept. and co-ordinating with Production, and the programming vinyl cutters and flatbed routers to produce corporate signage. Worked with national accounts such as Budweiser, Best Buy, Panerea Bread, Publix and others.
